Work Visa

1.  Application form fully completed in capital letters, black ink, without errors or erasures and signed by the applicant. Download the Angola visa application form;

2.  Passport valid for more than twelve (12) months and two (2) empty pages (+ 2 copies);

3.  Letter of invitation from an Angolan registered Company addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in the UK, with copy to the Office of Migration and Foreigners requesting the visa and must contain the following data of the applicant: Full Name, nationality, date of birth, passport number and expiring date, profession and function to perform. Copy sent to the Consular Section by e-mail in PDF or TIFF format to loi@angola.org.uk. (Helpfull advice: when sending an invitation letter by e-mail, write the applicant’s name in the subject field. It is not necessary to write any messages unless it is absolute necessary);

4.  3 photocopies of the pages of the passport containing information regarding the migratory flow (recent visas to Angola (max 2) and other visas (in conjunction with angolan visas to complete 4 or 4 other visas if never been in Angola);

5.  3 photographs passport size in colour. Affix one in the application form, write name on back of the remaining 2;

6.  Standard Criminal record – Translated to portuguese (translation authenticated by a public notary, by the Foreign Office in Milton Keynes and the Consular Section) (+ 2 copies after all authentications);

7.  Letter from GP – Letter from the GP or the respective Health Centre stating that the applicant does not suffer from any infectious disease (original and a photocopy of the certificate (copy to be authenticated by the Consular Section));

8.  International Certificate of Vaccinations

9.  Declaration of compliance with the Angolan laws in portuguese (Fill online and print or download here) (+ 2 copies after all authentications) ;

10. Contract of employment in portuguese, issued by a Company registered to operate in Angola (must include a company cover letter declaring the contract offer (if in english it must be translated to portuguese, authenticated by public notary, apostilled by the Foreign Office in Milton Keynes and authenticated by this Consular Section))(+2 copies after all authentications);

11.  Endorsement in portuguese from the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security in case of institutions or public companies or the supervisory organ of the activity in case of institutions or private institutions (+ 2 copies);

12.  Certificate of professional or academic qualifications (translated to Portuguese, authenticated by public notary, apostilled by the Foreign Office in Milton Keynes and authenticated by this Consular Section) (+ 2 copies after all authentications);
 
13.  Curriculum Vitae (translated to Portuguese. Translated copies to be authenticated by public notary, apostilled by the FO Milton Keynes and authenticated by this Consular Section) (+ 2 copies after all authentications);

14.  2 copies of the Company Charter (private) Angola;

15.  2 copies of Publication of the Diário da República of the Constitution of the Company (private);

16.  2 copies of the recent TAX Revenue in the case of institutions or private companies;

Authentication by the Consular Section: £10.00 each document.
